I just want to take a moment to appreciate everyone who has supported my small business, whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re new to my page.
Since 2012, this has been a journey of trial and error, experimenting, learning, wasting materials, starting over, and figuring things out along the way. I didn’t have a business background. I can’t draw. I don’t have a college degree in this. I’m not even very tech-savvy. 😂
What I did have was a vision and the determination to see if I could turn that vision into something of my own.
My business really is small — and some days, I’ll be completely honest, it feels like an uphill battle. I’m still dealing with health issues, hospitals, surgeries and every year there have been moments when I’ve said, “I’m done. I can’t do this anymore.”
And then somehow… I don’t give up.
A small business can be difficult when what you create is viewed as an accessory rather than a necessity. There are days when you wonder if anyone notices, cares, or even sees what you’re putting into it.
But then I look at my numbers and realize that 600+ people are looking. Maybe only a handful hit that little 👍 or ❤️, but hundreds of people are still stopping by and seeing what I create.
And you know what?
That tells me I must be doing something right. ❤️
To the ones who take the time to like, comment, share, purchase, recommend me, or simply keep coming back to look — I appreciate you more than you know.
And to my family and friends who have supported me, encouraged me, shared my work, listened to me talk about my business for what feels like a million years, and believed in me when I questioned myself — THANK YOU. You have no idea how much that support has meant over the years.
I may not have had all the tools, knowledge, or experience when I started in 2012.
I just had a vision.
And today, when I look at what I’ve taught myself to create, I’m proud. I’m proud that I kept learning. I’m proud that I kept trying. And most of all, I’m proud that I didn’t give up.
So whether you’re one of the few who always hits that like button or one of the 600+ quietly watching…
