After 4 years, it looks like it’s time to say goodbye to Etsy. 💔
My shop was recently suspended because of fan art — and of course, it happened right as the store was finally starting to gain momentum.
I understand that companies have the right to protect their intellectual property, but it’s still incredibly disappointing to see how difficult it has become for small artists and makers to create and sell fan-inspired work.
Fan art has always been about celebrating the things we love. It builds communities, starts conversations, and gives independent artists a chance to share their creativity. It’s sad to see fewer and fewer opportunities for small creators to do that.
So, goodbye Etsy. 👋
Four years of designing, printing, packing orders, learning, growing, and meeting some pretty awesome customers along the way.
This isn’t the end of creating — just the end of this chapter.
Thank you to everyone who ever ordered something, shared my work, left a review, or supported my little shop. It genuinely meant more than you probably realized. ❤️
This chapter may be over, but I’m definitely not done creating. 👋🎨✌
