So... we have some... different news. While we've worked so hard to bring you amazing Showit website templates you can use to grow your business, we've realized our goals and what you ACTUALLY NEED in a website template has shifted - especially with all this pandemic craziness. As business owners yourself, we're sure you totally know the feeling of learning so much through the creation process and man oh man do WE FEEL THAT. So while we won't be re-launching W&W (at least not now), we invite you to follow both of our founders, Amanda and Sarah on their journeys to serve you and love on your business in the ways they both know how best. What's the point of a new website if no one can find you?
You can have the prettiest website ever (trust us, with these templates, you're about to), but it does no good if you SEO is crap.
So what is SEO anyways? Well first off, it stands for Search Engine Optimization. It's how you make sure your ideal clients can easily find you when they're looking for you and THAT my friend is a beautiful thing.

Hey! We’re Sarah and Amanda, founders of Whisper & Whimsy! Here to do a (not-so) obligatory and tell you a bit about the two halves of W&W.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Amanda is a former Philadelphia news editor, 📝 who with a newborn baby asleep on her chest, taught herself Adobe Illustrator and website design and started her own business. 💻(And btw, if you know Amanda in real life, that story doesn’t surprise you even a little). She loves blending strategic website design (not so sexy) with copywriting (somehow even less sexy), just as she blends compassion and sarcastic wit in real life. Amanda’s bloodstream is mostly caramel flavored iced coffee, ☕️and that’s a must when you’re a business owner, police officer’s wife, and the mom to a toddler boy. 👪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sarah is a southern, sweet tea sippin' Georgia peach who grew up learning about graphic design from grandmother at her family's print shop. 🗃 After having her son she was looking for a way to earn a few hundred dollars a month so she could afford to move into a better apartment and decided to start her branding and web design business to support her family over three years ago. Year one she hit six figures and the rest is humble history. when they’re already interested in what you do and want to learn more about the person behind
the service or product they’re interested in.
Why? Because they want a reason to like you. They want to feel like they’ll make an investmentin a person. They want to know you are the right person for them.😘
We know writing every page on your website is a challenge, and that’s why we’ve included
COPYWRITING PROMPTS IN OUR TEMPLATES.🍾🍾

Here’s some things you can think about and work on before our template pre-sale goes live this

2. Let people know right away what you do. Before you get into your story, tell people who you
are and sum it up quick, people love to skim.
3. When writing out your about page, avoid big blocks of the same text, and use different fonts,colors, or graphic elements to separate text and make it more readable.
4. ALWAYS ALWAYS include a place for the reader to go when they’re done. One of the keys
to a highly-converting website is to never leave somebody hanging at the bottom of a page with
nothing to do.
