Today is my birthday, and this morning I had a quiet moment in the bathroom that reminded me how far I’ve come...

Something as small as realizing I use way too much toilet tissue and it hit me. 😂

Growth doesn’t always show up loud.
Sometimes it shows up in awareness. 💯

In preservation.
In gratitude.

If I could talk to little girl Camille, I’d tell her...
You made it.
Through uncertainty.
Through reinvention.
Through heartbreak and rebuilding.
Through dreams that scared you.
Through seasons that stretched you.

At 41, I’m thankful for the woman I’ve become innovative, ambitious, resilient, enthusiastic, and
still soft.

I’m deeply grateful for my husband, who planned one of the most beautiful birthdays I’ve ever experienced. Christmas was special, and this birthday reminded me what it feels like to be loved intentionally. I couldn’t imagine celebrating today without him.

I’m thankful for my sons who keep me alive inside.
For my sisters.
For my mother.
For my uncle.
For family.
For chosen family.
For breath.

Today I celebrate ME.

Here’s to another year of becoming.
