Job Title: General Laborer

Do you enjoy working with your hands, being near the water, and not sitting behind a desk all day pretending to be busy? Good—because we’re looking for a General Laborer to join our crew!

What you’ll be doing:
•Assisting with boat maintenance and repairs

•Helping move, clean, and prep boats for service or storage

•Cleaning, organizing, and keeping the shop looking sharp

•Pitching in wherever needed—because that’s how good teams work

What we’re looking for:
•Reliability—boats don’t fix themselves, unfortunately

•A strong work ethic

•Willingness to learn—marine experience is a bonus, but not required

•Ability to handle physical tasks and work in varying conditions

•A positive attitude—even when the job gets a little messy or unpredictable

Helpful (but not required):
•Experience using basic tools

•Familiarity with boats or marine environments

•Previous labor or shop experience

About Us

At Au Gres Marine, we don’t just fix boats—we rescue weekends, revive fishing trips, and occasionally save someone’s “I swear it ran fine last fall” reputation. We’re a hardworking, tight-knit crew that takes pride in quality work, good humor, and keeping things afloat (literally).

What You’ll Do
•Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of boats and marine engines

•Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, winterizing, etc.)

•Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, without immediately blaming “the battery”

•Install and repair marine systems and components

•Keep a clean and organized workspace (yes, even during peak season chaos)

•Communicate clearly with team members and customers

What We’re Looking For
•Experience with marine engines and repair (or strong mechanical background)

•Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet

•Strong work ethic and attention to detail

•Basic computer skills for diagnostics and work orders

•Valid driver’s license

•Bonus points if you can tell the difference between a real issue and “user error” without saying it out loud
