All handmade, in-house. I built a manual press to bend each and every "belly" picket, and I built a machine to cleanly roll the curved upper and lower railing sections. Powder coated black, it took the use of a very large crane to get it installed. The last picture is of the rear of the house.

Four story home and railings throughout. Pretty standard horizontal railings with two exceptions, 1st the pickets are larger than is typical, and 2nd there is one extra picket per section to make it look alittle bit busier.

A homemade generator cart. Complete with brakes and a winch! I hand formed all the bent metal. The hollow pipe was formed by packing 17' of 1.5" pipe with sand and capping the ends then using a torch I slowly rolled around a form. The brake's purpose is obvious and the winch was so it could pull itself up a ramp into the back of my truck. Winch is from China, handle bar brake levers are from England. :)

How about some "Green Screens". They are a good option in densely populated areas, they give you privacy AND cut down on the ambient noise of a city. Semi-permanent, plants/vines are encouraged to grow up into them, their presence will promote a healthier mindset and clean the air immediately around them.

I have been wanting to post this one since the very beginning, exactly 14 days ago. It was an exercise in simplicity, has it turned too complex - an evolution gone awry? The first few images are as it is now(much nicer in person AND looks like it belongs on a postage stamp, photos really could have been better), the second few are as it was(second iteration - very photogenic but not nice in person), and the final photos are how it was originally in it's purest state - I miss it(photogenic and endearing, cute).
