And listen—if Target is already setting up the Halloween goodies, then we can officially start planning our October TBRs. And The Devil’s Night series by Penelope Douglas deserves a spot at the very top. 🖤

Don’t know what an indie is?

You know those books everyone is talking about before they hit Barnes & Noble? Those are often indie books.

Published independently by the author, they’re usually released in smaller batches and are often the first editions readers get their hands on. Some eventually land in traditional bookstores with completely different covers, while others remain indie exclusives.

If you love discovering books early or collecting beautiful, hard-to-find editions, indie books are where the magic happens. And they are my personal favorite to collect!
