Encore® Azaleas not blooming? Here are a few things to check 🔎

breaks down some of the most common reasons your Encores may not be putting on the show you expected:

☀️ Too much shade: Encore® Azaleas need more sunlight than many traditional azaleas. Take a closer look at how much direct sun your plants are actually receiving.
💧 Plant stress: Because azaleas have shallow roots, inconsistent moisture or too little mulch can put them under stress.
🧪 Soil pH: Azaleas prefer acidic soil, so a pH that’s too high can interfere with healthy growth and flowering.
✂️ Pruning at the wrong time: Pruning in winter can remove flower buds before they ever have a chance to open. If pruning is needed, do it after the spring bloom.
