Look what I found! Austin in 1980…something! Well I guess I was destined to make this my home. I am the one on the right. So as we are preparing to say good bye to our hero, my dad, while celebrating all the other amazing heroes, moms, I have to say Thank You to all my heroes today. I lost my phone at our local grocery store this morning. On our busiest weekend! I had zero communication with my drivers, my babysitter, my flower family and my family! Thank you to the person who turned it in! I was back at 3:30! Wow! Our phones have turned into our everything 😞. See you tomorrow. Happy Mother’s Day.

After spending several days focused on designing, I stepped back and noticed a familiar piece in my studio - this frame “Mercedes Flowers coming soon’ alongside a photograph of Isabela and myself, taken when I was 5 months pregnant.
I have fond memories of my South First shop…beyond grateful how far we’ve come. Happy Mother’s Day!
