Most of us are aware that excessive consumption leads to waste. But also, most of us are engaging with consumption not necessarily for ourselves, but for those dear to us. Gift giving is a universal love language, a gesture of gratitude, a keepsake, a statement of "I'm thinking of you and care about you". ⁠

The final piece of Marketplace of the Future was a virtual event one week after the NYC in-person event. The setup was way cooler than a typical Zoom and more of an immersive game experience. I had quite a few fun conversations with virtual attendees, and probably look a little overly enthusiastic in this screenshot 🤣⁠

Angie and I had such an incredible time showcasing Zebo at Marketplace of the Future in NYC last month, a big thank-you to everyone who stopped by to say hi and ask about what we do 🥰⁠

It's the first in-person marketing event we've ever done. I was nervous about nearly everything going in: what if my display looks too low-budget and amateurish, what if no one comes up to us, what if my table somehow falls apart halfway... But everyone from the organizer team to the attendees was so reassuringly kind and warm, we had a lot of booth traffic and talked to people for hours straight. It was truly a blast!⁠

I'll continue to work hard to drive brand awareness and bring plastic-free, toxin-free products to more homes. Thank you for following along and supporting me along the way!⁠

What's up with wool dryer balls?⁠

What's up with fabric softener pods?

✔ They free up storage space from a gigantic, ugly detergent jug.
✔ They are convenient and easy to use. Toss one pod in directly with your laundry, that’s it. If you have to move your laundry to a different location, carrying just one lightweight pod instead of a heavy bottle is pretty darn nice, too.
✔ They use a concentrated and powerful formula. Less water in the formulation also allows ingredients to stay active and stable for longer. For you, that means softer fabric.⁠
