I don't know how hot is it in the place where you live, but here in Austin, it's getting crazy hot.. as we are always trying to implement more sustainable practices in our daily routine.. why not adopt some good habits related to cooling down houses or other spaces.

Honestly, when I first time got to the US, I was surprised by the number of air conditioners and also the temperature that people are trying to keep inside.. I would say that on average it's much lower than in Europe or other places I used to be. If I also think about how much energy it requires, it definitely requires some changes.

How are you cooling down in these hot days?

Climate Change Hero or Act of Vandalism?

I bet you saw this already, but for people who didn't - over the last week, we have experienced an interesting event, a young man dressed up like an old lady in a wheelchair threw a cake in a Parisian Louvre to show the world that climate change is important and we. can't ignore this.

Should we support him? Or maybe he is wrong?

We can have different opinions about this situation, but I want to see climate activists standing for good things and supporting good causes. Throwing cake in the most popular museum in the world definitely puts you on the first pages of all news - but what people would remember about it, and what message they will associate.

Unfortunately, climate change - will be the last thing that they will remember. So then, what was the point of this mascarade?

When most people toss a plastic bottle or cup into the recycling bin, they assume that means the plastic is recycled – but a new report lays bare how rarely that actually happens.

According to the Last Beach Cleanup and Beyond Plastics, the recycling rate for post-consumer plastic in the United States was just 5% to 6% in 2021.

Does it mean that we should stop recycling? - Definitely, no. With time technologies will change and recycling change will be improved and simplified?

Does it mean we should try to use less plastic? - Definitely, yes! Taking into account that a very small percentage of plastic is actually recycled, we should minimize or avoid using plastic and plastic materials.

The wave of fast fashion is slowly turning into a tsunami, but the number of customers and sales only growing every year. People feel guilty to buy from them but at the same time, that's what people feel they can afford.

For a lot of people, fast fashion isn't a fast-fashion, are clothes they gonna beat out for years, and with the upcoming economic crisis, things can even go worse.
