Life has a way of reminding us how fragile and precious it all is.

Lately I've found myself thinking a lot about loss. Friends, family, people who left this world far too soon. It's never easy, and if I'm being honest, sometimes it never really stops hurting. We just learn how to carry it differently.

One of the things I love about minerals is that they remind me of perspective. These pieces spent millions of years forming deep within the Earth. They'll be here long after we're gone. In a strange way, there's comfort in that. We're only here for a brief moment, so maybe the best thing we can do is appreciate the people we love, the memories we make, and the beauty we find along the way.

Some of these pieces have found new homes, some are still available, but all of them are reminders that beautiful things take time.

As many of you know, I'm currently taking a little time away to decompress, reset, and spend some time focusing on myself. There won't be any live sales until Sunday, June 21st, but I'll still be around and checking in from time to time.

Take care of yourselves, tell the people you love that you love them, and don't wait for a better day to appreciate the good things in front of you. 💚

Those of you who know me know I am an absolute sucker for green and white or green and clear mineral combos. Blame the lifelong Emerald City obsession 💚✨

But apparently we’re expanding the obsession into full rainbow territory now because the second I saw this opal, it was over for me 🌈😭

Is it giving Wizard of Oz? Am I spiritually somewhere over the rainbow? Honestly, probably. All I know is this thing flashes every color imaginable from every angle, and it looked me directly in the soul and said “you’re taking me home.”

So yes, the opal that successfully convinced me to keep it forever is safely staying in my personal collection where she belongs 💅

All right, y’all, brand new calcified clams and whelks fresh in from Rucks Pit, Florida, and these things are absolutely unreal. These gorgeous dogtooth calcite formations formed inside and around the original shells, creating some seriously out-of-this-world pieces with incredible texture and formation detail.

I’ve got everything from larger statement pieces to beautiful little babes, and the UV reaction and phosphorescence on these are next level. Seriously the kind of pieces you have to see in person to appreciate fully.
