Did somebody say pecan?

We're excited to team up with Oliver Pecan out of San Saba, Texas, known as the Pecan Capital of the World, to create a special edition tallow. This batch blends their 100% pure, cold-pressed pecan oil with our grass-fed tallow sourced from Cove Ranch right here in Texas.

Pecan oil brings a lot to the table:

Rich in vitamin E and A for deep hydration and skin elasticity

High in antioxidants that help protect your skin

Non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores

Full of monounsaturated fats that keep skin soft and supple

Something a little different from us today. We wanted to slow down and actually explain our thinking behind Boots & Briskets™ Soap Co, not just sell you a bar or bundle. Every single product we make starts with tallow, with olive oil and coconut oil only showing up as support players in a few recipes.

In our new blog, “Tallow First, Always: What’s Really In Boots & Briskets Soap,” we break down what the marketing slogan “harsh chemicals” really means, why soap is ALWAYS a chemical process, how true soap is defined under FDA guidance, and why we choose naturally derived preservatives like Geogard ECT when they’re needed. Made with 76% grass‑fed beef tallow to match your skin’s natural barrier, it helps repair weather‑beaten palms, split fingertips, and dry skin after a hard shift. Texas honey, protective beeswax, and a crisp hit of organic French peppermint keep it tough, not fancy.

How to use it:

1) Start with clean, dry hands or knuckles.
2) Scoop a small amount with the back of your nail.
3) Warm it between your fingers so it spreads easier.
4) Work it into your roughest spots until it disappears.
