I hate to have to post this but unfortunately I’ve got no choice due to folks not honoring their word or commitments.
Payment is due prior to or at the time of delivery/drop off unless other arrangements have been made and approved by me. I’ve got too many folks that I am still waiting on payment from for their items and I can’t afford to do this being as I have to pay for the items, the fuel to pick them up and I use my time to do all of the above which isn’t a free resource.
Special request items will be a pay before I purchase from my wholesalers type of arrangement because I’ve got far too many folks requesting items only to change their minds once I’ve paid for and picked up the item which I definitely can’t afford to do.
I apologize if this comes off as rude but I can’t afford to have my own funds wrapped up in items that folks either request for me to find for them or that they’ve picked up and haven’t paid me for—this is my primary source of income at the moment so it really hits my family’s bottom line when I either get left with special order items or have to either chase folks down to get paid or have to just eat the cost on items when folks decide they don’t want to pay me for them or pick them up once I’ve ordered them for them so please be considerate of mine and my family’s time and money and promptly pay for the items you purchase from my shop and/or do not request for me to order items unless you’re 100% committed to picking them up.
You wouldn’t rip off Amazon or Walmart so please show local small business the same regard since we’ve got bills to pay and mouths to feed to and are here to help folks save some money—up to 50-70% off of retail prices—on items for your everyday life because we get that you’ve got those same obligations too so please help us keep this business going and be upfront about your situation and we’ll be happy to work with you on payment or even barter with you but we can’t keep up with everything if folks continue to refuse to pay for or pick up their items.
