And then immediately wonder why something so magical is only here for the briefest moment. Truly, who decided lilac season should be this short-lived? It’s always the best stuff that’s most fleeting, isn’t it?🔮✨

So much of my sequel was dreamed up right here. Season after season, through snowfall and rainy days… now blooming flowers. It feels almost surreal to think that by the next seasonal transition, my characters and their newest adventures will have fluttered from my cozy book nook to your own little corners of the world.

There’s something incredibly special about knowing that a story born in this space will soon be keeping company with you in yours 💜✨

What a gift it is to exist in the same timeline as my beautiful Willie and the wildly talented Noah Kahan 🐾🤍🎙️✨

Hearing Noah talk about how long it took him to finish this album (and how close he came to walking away from it altogether) made me feel even more connected to his art. I’ve been there.

It’s taken me four years to finally return to, start, and finish my sequel. Creating again after time away asks a lot of you. Opening your heart back up to the process isn’t always easy.

But I’m incredibly grateful for the patience and support so many of you have shown me along the way. 🤍
