Welcome to Making Space!

The idea for this business came from real life.

After living in the same home for nearly 30 years, our family began preparing for a move of our own. It was planned, difficult, emotional at times, and required years of memories, belongings, and projects to be sorted, packed, and moved.

Along the way, six children were raised, countless memories were made, and more than a few closets, basements, garages, barns, and storage spaces were filled.

Over the years, there have been college move-ins, first apartments, first homes, small business ventures, hobbies, sports equipment, holiday decorations, and several full-scale moves as our children built lives and homes of their own.
As our family worked through decades of belongings, one thing became clear:
Many of life’s biggest transitions come with a lot of stuff!

Whether it’s moving, downsizing, helping a loved one through a major life change, preparing a home for sale, sending a child off to college, or simply creating more space, the challenge is often the same—figuring out what to do with everything in between.

That’s why we decided to start Making Space.

Making Space provides delivered storage totes to help make moving, decluttering, home sale preparation, college move-ins, downsizing, and life’s transitions a little easier.

Bry will be handling deliveries, pickups, and day-to-day operations, with support from family members who have experienced many of these transitions firsthand.

The goal is simple: help families create a little more space and a little less stress during life’s busiest seasons.
