Thank you, next! One last look back at Hi Goose Studio’s original home, 188 Avenue B.

March 2020: we moved our young vintage collection in during a global pandemic, then immediately turned the space into a mask making workshop. Not long after, we hosted our first VIP Private Shopping Sessions with stylist Jes Ruzic. Somewhere in there, I found the love of my life, Jupiter 🐾.

We even survived getting shut down by the city of Bayonne, courtesy of a jealous fellow business owner. Forever grateful to that one mystery frienemy who blew up our spot and Mr. Mikey Jooche for helping us win that zoning fight.

Four wonderful years in business, and it’s all thanks to our incredible clients for finding their way to “no man’s land” (Avenue B & 47th). And a special mention for Nicole of Nicole Wilson | Tea Writer and Educator who joined us for the last six months uptown, and continues to believe in what we’re doing downtown too!

Now we’re opening the doors to our new home in Bergen Point. Join us this Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, noon to 6pm, at 170 Broadway and 6th Street.

Join us for our Soft Opening this weekend, August 15 & 16. We’re opening our doors for the first time at our new, highly anticipated, Bergen Point location!

We are also using this festive occasion to launch our size-inclusive Fall 2026 Vintage Collection, which I have been lovingly curating for you since late July 💞

1. What is a Soft Opening? A soft opening is a trial run where a new business opens its doors to a limited, often invite-only group before its official grand opening. Yes, you can shop 😘

2. When is our Grand Opening? TBD, but we will be open with regular hours starting Sunday, August 23rd with a special Tea & Vintage shopping day.

All small pieces, appropriate for the inspired quilter, crafter, felter and other textile artists. Sorted loosely by color. I will be on hand if you’d like to learn more about these fabrics, talk about your creative projects or connect with fellow textile junkies.

Fare thee well 188 Avenue B. It’s time to move on to better things.

We’re so grateful to the years spent in this studio, our v. Bayonne landlord, our amazing neighbors, the growth we experienced as a business as well as the challenges.

Thank you to my operations and logistics manager aka JJ for making it happen under the tightest timeline. I love you baby John Paradiso !
