Meet the latest member of the Muramatsu and Canter Flute families – a long-awaited custom Muramatsu 14k gold flute with engraved keys which we introduced to its new owner Ai Goldsmith. It was a joy to watch an artist meet her flute for the first time. Applying acoustic techniques we were able to help Ai connect to her flute and make it sing. Friendships were formed, and there were tears of joy all around!

We are looking forward to hearing Ai perform at the National Flute Convention in Portland in August!

We’re excited to officially say hello from Canter Flute Repair!

If you’re new here, we’re a professional flute repair shop based in Oregon — and for August 2025 we’re taking the show on the road for our second appearance at the NFA Convention in Atlanta.
