Belfair! ❤️
What an incredible journey it has been helping bring the Belfair Public Market to life alongside Legacy Home Center.
It's been one week since our last market, and we've finally had the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and find the words to share what's been on our hearts.
When we first began this journey, we dreamed of creating something that would bring people together, celebrate local businesses, and give our community something special to look forward to. Watching that vision come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences we've ever had.
Our greatest hope is that the Belfair Public Market continues to grow and that our community continues to support events like this. Belfair deserves places where neighbors can gather, small businesses can thrive, and connections can be made.
To everyone who came out to shop, visit, and support us and our amazing vendors, thank you. Your encouragement, excitement, and support made every market day special.
And to our vendors... thank you will never feel like enough. You trusted us with your businesses, spent countless hours creating your products, building inventory, loading trailers, setting up booths, and showing up weekend after weekend. We truly appreciate each and every one of you beyond words. One of the greatest joys of this experience was getting to know you personally and witnessing your incredible talent and creativity firsthand. We are so grateful our paths crossed, and we look forward to seeing where the future takes all of us.
Now for the difficult part.
For us, this was never just four market dates. It was months of dreaming, planning, problem-solving, organizing, promoting, and countless hours behind the scenes that many people never see. We poured our hearts into this market because we believed in what it could become. While it has been an incredibly rewarding experience, it has also required a significant amount of our time.
But along the way, we also realized just how much of ourselves we were giving.
As many of you know, we also own and operate two businesses. More importantly, we're raising a family. Somewhere along the way, we realized there wasn't enough left for the people who need us most.
Our family has always been, and will always be, our greatest priority.
After many conversations and a great deal of reflection, we've made the difficult decision to step away as co-hosts of the Belfair Public Market.
This wasn't an easy decision, and it certainly wasn't one we imagined making when we started this journey. But sometimes the hardest decisions are the ones that protect what matters most. Right now, that means focusing our time and energy on our family and the businesses we've worked so hard to build.
Although you won't see us organizing the market anymore, you'll still see us around Belfair supporting local vendors, shopping small, and continuing to invest in the community we love so much!
Time is one of our most valuable resources, and we're choosing to spend it where we're needed most while finding the balance between business, family, and life.
To every vendor who trusted us, every customer who showed up, every person who shared a post, offered encouragement, or simply believed in what we were trying to create, THANK YOU. You helped turn an idea into something real, and that is something we'll always be proud of.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Belfair. We'll always be cheering for our local businesses and for the community that made this experience so meaningful.
