I just wanted to say thank you for the most incredible Steel Valley Yarn Crawl. My heart is full from connecting with so many of you as you appreciated everything Chronicles of Cheryl stands for. With an incredible debut for Malory Towers, consistent love for Little Women and Marmee, such excitement for my brand new mystery beanie and sock knitting kits, and endless demand for the ever popular Butterfly Pea Flower, I am so appreciative of the success this summer season has been.

Also, thanks to all your support, we donated over $170 this month to important causes through the Threads that Nourish and Threads without Borders collections.

I'll be off on a bit of a break this week, but I don't want to neglect those of you outside the Pittsburgh area, so I'm running a special sale so you also get a chance to shop with us this season...

Malory Towers was my favorite boarding school series from Enid Blyton in the early 2000s. Set after after World War II, the six books follow Darrell Rivers and her friends as they go through each school year. A charming coming-of-age story, the girls grow and learn, not without goofing around, pranking teachers, and each other.

Millennial Nostalgia is available in yarn bases all the way from sock to super bulky, and released on the last Thursday each month.

The starts this week! The Steel Valley Yarn Crawl is hosted by local yarn shops in and around the Pittsburgh area. Join us for 17 days of community-filled fun as you visit 9 participating yarn shops! It’s the perfect chance to explore the many wonderful yarn stores scattered throughout Pittsburgh while discovering the unique neighborhoods that surround them. Each shop will feature exclusive items, special events, and extended hours to help you complete the crawl. It’s three weeks of yarn-filled fun you won’t want to miss!
