Technically, merchandise means anything you sell that isnā€™t a service.

But when I hear ā€œmerch,ā€ I think logo stuff.

And there was a time when merch worked REALLY well, like 2013 to 2016. You could put your studioā€™s logo on a racerback tank or a sport bottle and that was all you needed.

But that was also the era of pole when we all wore fold over yoga shorts, Victoriaā€™s Secret sports bras, and volleyball knee pads. There wasnā€™t a huge market of pole specific products.

Pole has changed, which means retail has too.

There is now an entire world of products designed specifically for pole dancers and your students want them.

And thatā€™s a really important distinction if youā€™re a studio owner trying to make your retail space work.

And the products your students want are probably already right under your nose.

Look around your studio.ļæ½
What are they wearing? What are they using? What are they asking about? What are they bringing through the door?
