Hecks Things and Things Flea Market Is Hiring! We are looking to fill a few positions!
We are a massive indoor flea market where there are tons of very cool, unique and interesting things to see and buy. Collectibles, antiques, clothing, technology, decorations and much much more!
First is a Monday-Thursday Organization & Cleaning position.
This is only available during weekday hours since we are open to the public on the weekends.
- We bring in large amount of inventory weekly. The position would include organizing those items, and distributing them to their proper places in the Flea Market.
- We are looking for someone who can enter a space and see the potential it has and logically think on how to approve it. This is a massive warehouse and every small space matters. (Reorganizing shelves, moving sections around for a better layout, merchandising inventory, stocking)
- Cleaning will be a priority. (Dusting the shelves, wiping off product, sweeping/vacuuming) We are open to the public weekly and would like this to be a focus.
- General understanding of technology. You may be asked to do research on items as they come in and be able to appraise and price items.
Second position is Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Flea Market.
As we are open to the public on weekends we need a reliable and friendly person to be on the register and interact with our wonderful customers!
- Responsibilities will include excellent customer service skills, being able to engage with customers and answer any questions or concerns.
-Cash Handling, item appraisal, understanding of the register and all of our policies.
