🚨 Michigan DNR Update: Starting June 19, 2026, it’s illegal to grow, sell, or own. Water Hyacinth & Water Lettuce including dwarf varieties.🚨

We know this is tough news, but we’ve got safe, legal alternatives for your pond! Here’s what you can use instead:

🌿 Instead of Water Lettuce, Try:
Amazon Frogbit – Free-floating with long roots, great for shade.
Red Root Floater – Small, colorful, and easy to grow.
Water Spangles – A safe, legal floating fern.

🌸 Instead of Water Hyacinth, Try:
American White Water Lily – Beautiful white blooms, native to Michigan.
Yellow Pond Lily – Bright yellow flowers, perfect for ponds.
Spatterdock – Heart-shaped leaves and cheerful yellow flowers.
Pickerelweed – Purple flowers, great for wildlife.
Hardy Waterlilies – Many non-invasive varieties are legal!

⚠️ Avoid These (They’re Banned in Michigan!):
Water Hyacinth
Water Lettuce including dwarf varieties
Giant Salvinia
Hydrilla
Parrot Feather
Flowering Rush
European Water Clover
European Frog-bit
Carolina Fanwort

New rescue alert ⚠️
This time Hernit Crabs 🦀
From barely a 10gal dry substrate to a 55gal
These littler guys are loving all the space!
10gal per crab is minum but we aim to do better and teach better! Thank you so much to the returning customer who saved these 2 off Facebook marketplace we appreciate you trusting us!

We plan to add some bigger water dishes and plants but this will do good for now!
