We were just contacted by SPEAK Animal Hospital / Cat Sanctuary to hopefully locate the family of this injured cat -

"We had a female, black and white cat surrendered this morning that was found hit by a car on Main St in Endicott, across from Byrne Dairy. The cat survived and is having surgery she was wearing this flea collar. We were wondering if you could post this info along with a picture of the collar, and ask people if they think it is their cat to contact our hospital. We are not sure if the cat is spayed or not (yet, they will probably look closer when they do the surgery), and unsure of age (but it is an adult)."

At Vanity Fur & Friends, our setup is different from a traditional high-volume grooming salon. Each groomer works individually with their pet in their own grooming space, rather than juggling several dogs at the same time.

• Less waiting around before or after the groom
• A quieter, lower-stress environment with fewer distractions
• No room full of unfamiliar dogs surrounding your pet
• More time to work at your pet’s pace and give breaks when needed
• Extra attention for nervous, senior, spicy, or easily overwhelmed pets
• A groom tailored to YOUR pet — their coat, behavior, comfort level, and needs

Traditional grooming salons can often charge less because they’re designed to handle a higher volume of pets at once. One-on-one grooming intentionally limits how many pets we schedule so we can dedicate that appointment time to your pet.
