“I’ll just order online.”

“I’ll just drive to another state.”

“Businesses will just move.”

None of those will be an option if the proposed federal language becomes law.

This isn’t just an Alabama issue.

This is a federal issue that would affect h**p programs across the country.

If enacted, the proposed testing requirements would effectively eliminate the legal market for h**p-derived THC products nationwide.

That means:

❌ No driving across state lines to buy the products you use today.
❌ No moving your business to another state to continue selling the same products.
❌ No “safe state” where these products will still be available.

There won’t be another state to turn to. There won’t be another website to order from. There won’t be another legal market waiting somewhere else.

Congress is making decisions that could dramatically change the future of h**p products nationwide.

If the current language moves forward without changes, many federally lawful h**p products could become unlawful beginning November 12, 2026. That’s why industry organizations across the country are asking consumers to make their voices heard.

📞 We’re asking everyone who supports the h**p industry to contact Senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville and ask them to support a two-year extension of the Section 781 h**p implementation date, moving it from November 12, 2026, to November 12, 2028.

That additional time would allow Congress, regulators, manufacturers, and responsible retailers to work toward a practical, science-based framework instead of creating unnecessary disruption for businesses and consumers.
