I’ve shared a lot of pretty flowers here, but not much about myself. This little stand means so much more to me than selling bouquets and I wanted to share why.

Last winter I had a brand new baby and was grieving the eventual loss of my mom to ALS. It got dark at 4:30 and if you’ve ever been postpartum you know what that alone can do to your mood 🥲

I started dreaming about our garden plans for the spring and that led me to flowers. Growing cut flowers has helped me keep moving when I didn’t feel like it and given me something beautiful to look forward to on hard days. Watching the little seeds I started in January become gorgeous blooms that I get to share with people has been a dream.

Opening our stand for the first time on Saturday was so special 🥹 It’s been almost a month since I lost my mama, and she would have loved to see it. Once again I have flowers to thank for giving me a little joy during a very hard time.
