Here is a real Rarity from the famous Sanat Eulalia District in Mexico.
Sphalerite with Galena
San Antonio Mine, Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdan, Chihuahua, Mexico
Large stepped crystals of lustrous black Sphalerite to 2.2 x 1.8 cm cover this specimen from the famous San Antonio Mine. A large brassy Arsenopyrite measuring 1.0 x 0.9 cm and Galena crystals to 2.0 cm are tucked amongst the Sphalerites. This specimen was collected by Brian Bond as part of his 1970s MSc Thesis field work from now flooded underground workings. A fabulous specimen.
