Sometimes when families are trying to decide what look they want for their portraits, I send them here to look through examples of my work. It can be hard to imagine your child's photo as a silhouette!

I always encourage parents to choose a hair style that reflects their child's day to day personality, as it really plays such a big part in the expression of the portrait. So if your little girl is always in a ponytail, know that they are such a cute option! I've enjoyed cutting lots of ponytails this summer!

I was reminded of these sweet sisters again when I reread their mom's precious review on Etsy today, and I realized I had only shared one of the girls' portraits so far (I have so many unshared photos!🫣).

These two definitely stretched my skills but were some of the most delightful silhouettes that I have cut, and their mom's joy and gratitude was just so humbling and rewarding! My customers truly make this work so worthwhile.🤍

Throwback photo from Father's Day three years ago...

I can't believe how much our little girl has grown since then, but I'm so thankful that her love for her daddy is still the most obvious thing to anyone who sees them together! Few things melt my heart like seeing my two favorite people in the world adoring one another so much.

When I was our daughter's age, I was already praying for my future husband and dreaming about the kind of father he would be, and now I thank God every day for the man that he is. I don't deserve him in the least.

My husband's not on social media, but I'll say it anyway: Happy Father's Day, dear. We love you!!
