Mr. Barn Swallow requested a new bag. I have about 10 yards of this Trebark© canvas, and the pattern was exactly what he wanted for his longer bike rides. It fits him perfectly!

This is one of my favorite sling patterns, and this bag was made at 90% of the full size. I took a photo of the bag made at 100%, 90%, and 85% (L to R). I might make one for the shop, so go to Etsy and favorite the shop so you'll get the latest updates!

I don't know about you, but corduroy reminds me of cooler weather and sweaters. What better bag to wear with a sweater than this cute brown corduroy sling! This is a bestseller! Why? Because it is the perfect size, with pockets in all the right places. This deep teal green is so gorgeous and will go from season to season effortlessly. The interior is lined with premium quilting cotton in a complementary teal color, and includes a zippered pocket and two slip pockets. Tying it all together is a pretty teal strap, with beige edges. My goodness, where does the time go! I blinked and it's the middle of August! The days are not as long, but I'm eagerly waiting for some cooler weather and a break in this heat and humidity.

Between busy-ness, I added this lovely and rugged green waxed canvas sling to the shop! The interior is lightweight water repellant canvas so clean-up is a breeze. There are loads of pockets, and it can be worn on your left or right, thanks to the two D-rings in the back. Doesn't that pretty strap just tie it all together! This is made at 85% of the original pattern, so just a touch smaller but my customers tell me it is the perfect size!

The beautiful flowers blooming everywhere inspired me to finally make this "mini" crossbody that is far from mini, coming in at 8" high and 5.25" wide. The beautiful pink waxed canvas was found at my local quilt store ACME Fabric & Quilt Co. and I had just enough of the boho flower design by Groovity to add that pop of color. We all love a good fair and some like it more than others! My sister is a HUGE fan of the Iowa State Fair and every year she talks me into making something for the Blue Ribbon Foundation's big fundraiser, the Corndog Kickoff, which raises funds for the continued preservation and renovation of the fair buildings. This year the theme was "American Classic" and I had the perfect fabric designed by Maria Faith Garcia for Spoonflower, and I paired it with some bright red waxed canvas, which created this fun crossbody bag! Giving a little love to the state in which I was born and raised!

I'm happy to say this bag brought $250 in the silent auction! Congratulations to the winner! ENJOY!

It’s been a heavy couple months with deaths and funerals, and it seems like I haven’t had much time to sew and create. I have repaired our flag, made curtains for Mr. Barn Swallow’s camper using fabric he found for $1 a yard, and made a couple f***y packs with a fair theme for my fair-loving sister! I also stopped and picked some flowers from my garden. Time to recharge. Anyone else feeling overwhelmed? 🌻🌺🌸

If you're in need of a sturdy one-of-a-kind computer bag, this one will check every box and last years and probably through several computers! It is good to do hard things sometimes, and this bag made me slow down and pay attention to every detail.

Details: Two large pockets on BOTH sides of the bag, plus an exterior zipper pocket for fun. The bag is fully padded for protection of your electronics. Inside you'll find a computer pocket (again, all padded), plus 3 electronics pockets for cords, chargers, your mouse, even an external hard drive. AND an interior zipper pocket, for those things you don't want floating around in a pocket.

Made from extra sturdy waxed canvas and accented with cork, you will be the envy of all computer nerds - promise!
