This is a triple point amethyst wand pendant 6.5” long. The three-pointed termination gives it a particularly beautiful symbolic quality.
Amethyst is traditionally associated with spiritual protection, purification, intuition, inner stillness and higher consciousness. In a metaphysical context, the wand can be viewed as a tool for directing and focusing energy, while the three points create a sense of triadic flow: body, mind and spirit; past, present and future; the 3 souls, or the threefold movement of receiving, transforming and transmitting.
The combination of the clear quartz body with the deep violet amethyst points is especially evocative. Clear quartz is often regarded as an amplifier and energetic conduit, while amethyst brings the frequency of contemplation, discernment and spiritual awakening. I see this particular wand as a bridge between the grounded and the higher realms, useful symbolically for meditation, energetic clearing, intention setting and bringing intuitive insight into embodied awareness.

This beautiful mineral is Hemimorphite, it gets its name from the word hemimorphic which describes a crystal that has different shaped terminations at each end of its primary crystallographic axis. This is an unusual, rare and defining characteristic of the stone.
The crystal growth habit may be in tabular, botryrodial or massive formations.
Hemimorphite is found near zinc ore deposits as well as Smithsonite and other heavy on the zinc minerals. These two crystals can closely resemble each other and are often confused for one another, but they do have differences. They were both called calamine until 1962.
Due to weathering and oxidation of primary zinc minerals, hemimorphite occurs as a secondary mineral. This means it transformed or “morphed” into a new mineral after undergoing chemical changes. This makes it a great stone to work with for all kinds of life transitions and transformations. I see this as a particularly powerful stone for those seeking/going through bodily or image changes such as weight loss, surgery, transgender or hormonal shifts.

On First Friday Boulder Creek’s events, local Artisans line the sidewalks downtown with handcrafted wares, many shops stay open late you can find good food and good people.
