The wait is over. I can finally spill the tea.
I GOT AN OFFICE!!! 🥹😭
And the best part? It’s not all just for me.
A lot of you know I closed my storefront last December, and shortly after that I went back to working out of my bedroom + storage unit.
The last year has been incredibly humbling and, let’s just say, character building. 😂 From working through the extreme heat this summer to everything else life has thrown at me, there were definitely moments where it felt like I was moving backwards.
But I kept going, and I’m so freaking happy to say that the hard work has finally paid off. I officially have an office that is NOT five feet from my bed and NOT 110 degrees!!! 😭
And for everyone guessing the bookstore is coming back… not exactly. 👀
Our new office will also double as a COMMUNITY SPACE. 💌 We can seat around 18–20 people for craft nights, book clubs, smaller events + collaborations with other local organizations. We’ll also occasionally open our doors for you to come shop our products IRL — and yes, there’s a coffee bar. ☕️
ANDDDD this means reading retreats are coming back this winter!!! 📚
I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who has supported this business and helped me get from a storage unit to having a little home of our own. 🥹
It’s been a CRAZY week going straight from Smuttastic in St. George to moving everything I own into this office, but I can’t wait to show you more.
For now, here’s a little glimpse of my very cozy new office… where I apparently still refuse to use the overhead lights. 😂
Okay gotta go. I have approximately 700 bookcases to build.
