The tiniest new residents have waddled into Amothecary. 🦆🤎

A very limited collection of taxidermy ducklings has just arrived in the shop—and yes, a select few come complete with their own tiny cowboy hats. 🤠

Equal parts charming, unusual, and completely impossible to resist. These little guys are extremely limited, so once they’ve found their homes, they’re gone.

Come pick your favorite before they waddle off with someone else.

We are SO back! TICKET links in BIO!!!

On SUNDAY, August 30, we’re offering two unique insect pinning workshops featuring spectacular specimens from around the world. Whether you’re brand new to entomology or looking to expand your collection, these classes are designed to guide you through every step of the pinning process.

🦋 12:00 PM – Red Cracker Butterfly (Hamadryas Amphinome)
Create a beautifully spread display featuring this striking butterfly with its bold crimson markings. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.
*Please note that you will be provided one specimen and can decide later on if you would like to display its front side or back side.

🦗 1:30 PM – Giant Red-Winged Grasshopper (Tropidacris dux)
Work with one of the world’s most impressive grasshoppers, known for its incredible size and vibrant wings. This class lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Each participant will receive:
• Your specimen
• Shadowbox display
• Pinning board
• Forceps and entomology pins
• All tools and materials needed during class
• A take-home instruction guide

Please note that your specimen will remain on the pinning board to dry after class. You’ll complete the final mounting into the shadowbox at home using the materials provided in your kit.

Space is limited to keep each workshop personal and hands-on. We can’t wait to create with you again.
