It's a unique role owning a brick-and-mortar while also being a maker. When I first opened my doors, I was very hard on myself because I wasn't making as many earrings as I once did. I placed a lot of unneeded pressure on myself. I was scared that I would no longer be able to work with my hands. Finally, after 3 years, I have a decent balance of the two; some days it includes packing a basket full of supplies and quietly working on product in between customers. Some weeks I can only manage to get one pair of earrings done, and some weeks look like this.

To be honest, I'm thankful that I have a space that allows me to be creative in whatever form that may be.

This little 80s baby had big dreams to one day own her very own mauve wonderland and run absolutely EVERY aspect of it on her own for zero dollars an hour 🤣.

I love this trend so much, and I absolutely love this little shop and our customers.
