DISCERNMENT IS A SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
The spiritual community talks a lot about intuition, but not nearly enough about discernment.
Not everyone who calls themselves a healer is ready to heal.
Not everyone with a certification has wisdom.
Not everyone with a large following has experience.
And not everyone who speaks confidently knows what they’re talking about.
When seeking out a reader, healer, teacher, mentor, coach, practitioner, or guide, ask yourself:
✨ Can they explain their training and experience?
✨ Do they acknowledge the limits of their knowledge?
✨ Are they willing to refer people elsewhere when something is outside their expertise?
✨ Do their actions align with the values they publicly teach?
✨ How do they treat people when there is nothing to gain?
✨ How do they respond to criticism or disagreement?
✨ Are they focused on helping others, or on being seen as enlightened?
✨ does their entire social media presence come off as performative?
The most knowledgeable practitioners I’ve met are often the first to admit they are still learning.
Real wisdom tends to come with humility.
Real healing requires accountability.
And real spiritual growth is reflected in how we treat people, not just in what we post online.
Protect your energy. Ask questions. Use discernment. Trust actions more than titles.
