303 students and 12 teachers were abducted from St. Mary’s School in Niger state, Nov. 21, 2025 — far more than the initial count of 215.
Another 88 students were captured while trying to flee. The victims, ages 10–18, were taken just days after a similar kidnapping in nearby Kebbi state.
No group has claimed responsibility, and security teams are searching for the hostages.
