If you know me, you know that I love the market and cook and eat with the seasonal changes reflected every week through the farmers' offerings. Produce Girl reached out to extend a fun challenge with a mystery ingredientβ€”black mission figsβ€”to see what I would make! I have surprisingly never made a fig challah and decided to take it up a notch with a fig leaf infused oil and sugar with its grassy, coconut-like profile to compliment the fresh figs. To eat as a dish, I had the challah with cream cheese, quartered figs, and B R I G H T L A N D orange blossom honey β˜€οΈ
