Step inside our Brooklyn roastery, where we roast Vietnamese coffee weekly. Comment BEANZ for a promo code, first time customers only.

Since 2018, we’ve been building direct trade relationships with Vietnamese coffee farmers across Vietnam, importing the beans and then roasting locally in Brooklyn.

By sourcing high quality Vietnamese coffee beans and meticulously roasting them on the Loring, we’re proud to showcase that Vietnamese coffee has a place in specialty coffee.

Though some parts of the roasting process is semi automatic, we still have an amazing team of humans involved in every step. After the weigh and fill machine, we manually check the weight with a scale to keep variances contained.

Sealing each bag meticulously by hand keeps our Vietnamese coffee fresh.

Last step, the bags are folded and tin tie secured by hand. Every step of roasting and packing our Vietnamese coffee is handled with extra love and care. 💙 Grab your beans on our website!!

Who invented Vietnamese Egg Coffee? The story goes back to the First Indochina War in 1946.

The inventor of Vietnamese egg coffee is a bartender named Nguyen Van Giang.

Without fresh milk, Giang got creative by combining eggs with Vietnamese coffee.

Vietnam is the #1 producer of robusta coffee in the world. Naturally, Vietnamese coffee culture is defined by robusta beans.

Cafe Giang is still a family owned and operated coffee shop today in Hanoi.

Hanoi’s egg coffee has become an iconic drink known around the world.

How to make Vietnamese Egg Coffee - (CĂ  PhĂȘ Trứng) đŸ„šâ˜•ïž Save this recipe!! 👇

INGREDIENTS
4-5 oz Vietnamese robusta coffee
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
Cocoa powder

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Brew Vietnamese robusta coffee with whichever brew tool you prefer: traditional phin filter, espresso, French press, or V60. Adjust the recipe to make the coffee concentrated and keep it hot!

- Phin Filter: 3 tbsp robusta, 4-5 oz hot water · 5 min drip
- Espresso: 1 double shot and add 2 oz hot water
- French Press: 2 tbsp coarse grind, 5 oz water, steep 4 min
- Pour Over: 3 tbsp medium-fine, 5 oz water, 3 min pour

2. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar and condensed milk together for 3-4 minutes until thick, light and creamy.

3. Spoon the egg cream on top of your hot coffee so it floats like a golden cloud.

4. Dust with cocoa and enjoy!
