Just a small one because is super stocked with lots of goodies currently, but I’m itching to mix it up. So anybody who buys a plant at Beloved this weekend and tags me in a photo of it will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate good towards any plant through the end of 2021.

Walk in hours are 11-4 Thursday and Friday! I’ll announce the winner Monday 10/4.

I LOVE LECA!
This ficus elastica tineke was struggling when I transferred it from soil around 6 weeks ago. Since then, the roots have absolutely taken off and she’s pushed out a total of 6 new leaves! So it was time for some more space for those roots.

For those of you who have been wanting to try, but haven’t taken the leap, do it! We have some plants in the shop that are thriving in leca and ready to go 😉

I made my first sale out of the shop today. 🎉🎉

And at first I was hesitant to share this. I realize that there’s an immense amount of privilege in my ability to focus on things like this as the democracy of our country crumbles around us and oppression abounds.

But y’all, I’m proud! I want to share this space my mom and I have created. I want it to be a place where people can come to feel welcome, safe, and accepted. I want people to come here and fond solace in these plants the way I have.

I dropped the ball on this yesterday so here’s a two for one! Newest plant and selfie with a plant.

I picked up this ficus altissima without knowing exactly what it was, and I’m so glad I did! It’s been super easy to care for and just looks so cute hanging out.
