Just wanted to remind everybody that we'll be in Brady tomorrow (Saturday the 17th) for the 10th Annual Tinman Memorial Rally. We aim to be set up by between 9:00 and 9:30. Looks like it's going to be fun all three days but we will only be there Saturday. We are not sure how late we'll stay, but will be there til at least 6:00. Can't wait to see everybody.

Once again, life (and special orders) got in the way of my Facebook update. And the rest of the month is going to be busy, busy and busier! So here goes. This Saturday (Oct 17th) we will be heading to Brady, TX for the 10th Annual Tinman Memorial Rally. On FRIDAY, the 23rd, we will be set up at The Shops at La Bodega for an evening market that runs from 5:00 to 9:00. Then Saturday and Sunday (24th and 25th) we will be at the Brownwood Airport for the Brownwood Fly In Fair. Be sure and come Saturday morning to enjoy the car show and the pinup girls contest. Lots of great food, too! The following Friday (10/30), we'll be back at The Shops at La Bodega (in costume) from 5 to 9 for another evening show. And we'll close out the month out at Lake Brownwood at the Community Trunk or Treat at the Flatrock General Store Saturday evening (Oct 31). As I said, busy, busy, busier! Come see us at one or more of these super fun events!

Better late than never, right? Sorry I forgot you post earlier - I got busy working on a bunch of special orders for some special folks and FORGOT! Oops ... We will be at The Brownwood Artisan Market today from 9:00 till 2:00. Come on over, browse and then wander into Shaw’s Marketplace or grab a bite at Fuzzy's Taco Shop.

Well we've got our fingers crossed and are hoping for little or no rain tonight and tomorrow. Because it's time to come...

Well we've got our fingers crossed and are hoping for little or no rain tonight and tomorrow. Because it's time to come on out to Zephyr and join us at the BROWN COUNTY REUNION. Lots going on - karaoke, live music, great food, vendors and activities for the kids. And unlike some events, it's FREE to the public. Come on out and say "hey"!

Working on a bunch of special orders this week and getting ready for the first of the fall The Brownwood Artisan Market this Saturday. We'll be in Fuzzy's Taco Shop parking lot at 508 N Center Ave. Brownwood, right next door to Shaw’s Marketplace. The market will be open from 9:00 to 2:00 and we've got some really great vendors planning on attending. Please join us for a little while.

We're super excited to be a part of The Camp Bowie Veterans 4th Annual Car Show. They are switching it up a little bit this year. Instead of being at The Armory, it's happening this Saturday at BRUNER AUTO in Early. We'll be set up by 10:00 Saturday morning and (hopefully, barring rain) be there til about 4:00. Come by and say HELLO and see all our new designs.

We will be setting up tomorrow at The Shops at La Bodega . This post is late because I was hoping we could split up and be at TWO events, The Shops at La Bodega and the event at Tractor Supply, but that is proving impossible to arrange, due to work schedules. So please come see me at The Shops at La Bodega between 9:00 and 3:00. We're getting some new vendors in this weekend, so we're excited and hope you will be too.

We will not have any shows over the Labor Day weekend because we are working on some new products for upcoming events. However we do have several chances for you to see us this month. The Shops at La Bodega is having a Saturday market on Sept. 12. On Sept 19th, we'll be at Bruner celebrating our great veterans from Camp Bowie with their annual car show and vendors market and then, on Sept 26th, we'll be over at the first fall Brownwood The Brownwood Artisan Market in the Fuzzy's Taco Shop parking lot. We'll also be dropping in to The Shops at La Bodega several times this month to sit and visit or work on special projects. If you need to meet with me to discuss designing something special, let me know and I'll arrange to meet you there.

In addition to two Saturday markets this month, remember that The Shops at La Bodega is now open 5 days a week. We're not there all the time, but some of my tumblers, tote bags and baby stuff is! Stop in, say hello and take a look. We are growing and adding new vendors. Though we at Quirky Cups and Gifts won't be able to be at the event later in the month, we WILL be there on Saturday the 12th and available to talk about any special orders you may need for upcoming special events.

Can you believe it is already September? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it but here it is. Kids are back in school, football has started, the fall season of the Brownwood The Brownwood Artisan Market will be starting the end of the month and pumpkin spice and cold weather will be back before we know it, with the holidays right around the corner. ]
