Today is a day we never wanted to face.
This morning, we had to say goodbye to our beloved shop mascot, Mooch—better known to many of you as Moochie Mane. 🐾❤️
Mooch wasn’t just our cat. He was part of the heart and soul of Butterworth Bargains LLC. If you ever stopped by the shop, chances are he greeted you at the door, followed you around while you browshed, or happily accepted all the pets and attention you were willing to give. He truly never met a stranger. Everyone was a friend to Mooch, and he loved every visitor who walked through our doors.
And if you knew Mooch, you definitely knew his voice. He was never shy about letting everyone know he was there with his loud, long meows that were almost always filled with purrs. Whether he was welcoming you, asking for attention, or simply joining the conversation, his sweet voice became one of the things that made Butterworth Bargains feel like home.
The shop will never be quite the same without him. There will be an empty place where he used to welcome everyone, and an even bigger empty place in our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who showed Mooch kindness over the years. Whether you stopped to love on him, laughed at his silly antics, listened to his never-ending conversations, or simply looked forward to seeing him when you visited, you were part of his story.
Run free, sweet Moochie Mane. Thank you for filling our shop with love, comfort, loud purr-filled greetings, and countless memories. You’ll always be our mascot, and you’ll forever be a part of Butterworth Bargains LLC.
