Here are a few items that would be great for spring time. Other items I'll be adding to the collection soon are planter benches, trellis planters, potting benches, grill caddies, and porch swings.

Finished my first floating shelf. I used hemlock boards and crown molding, and cut down scrap 2x4 to make the support frame. The stain is Special Walnut from Minwax and finished with three coats of polyurethane. I was able to hit one stud with the frame and used a drywall anchor for the other side.

Finished this one on Tuesday. I think this color scheme is my favorite so far.

I've still got tons of pallet wood. I guess I underestimated how far a few pallets will go. Here's a planter box that would work well mounted to a fence. It's 15in wide and 7in tall.
