Hello, dear ones. It's August 3rd. Just wanted to jump on to say HI! 👋 We've been in our new home now for 5 weeks. Still unpacking . . . I thought I purged. 😆😆😆 We're getting projects done though already. I'm only gonna say this once, it's HOT! So we are doing inside the house projects like wallpapering the laundry room and guest bathroom. I haven't gotten into my studio yet. I'm hoping that the beginning of September we'll have cleaned out the garage enough to get it sorted out, and I can start bring in bins of beads and things. AND, I will tell you . . . I've sourced a few things that I can't wait to get started on. Tippy Stockton will be back. I promise. I hope you've all had a great Summer - the kiddies will be back to school soon and life will have a routine again for those of you with little ones. For me, the season will change from HOT to not as HOT. But, that said, we are loving it here. Haven't been to the beach lately - I need to fix that. Missing you all so much 🫶❤️😘

Gahhh. A year ago today, I launched the biggest Summer Collection ever. You guys, I’m going stir crazy. I don’t do well just sitting and waiting, but things are moving, literally. Our PODS are on the move this week. You have no idea how hard it’s been not to have our belongings. I can’t wait to get my hands on my tools - not sure how quickly I’ll be back to my work bench, but at least I’ll have inspiration when I do start back up. They say, patience is a virtue. I’m really trying. I’m not good at it 😂😂😂 I miss you all so much ♥️ how’s your summer going so far? xoxo

Sunday, Funday at the Beach! We thought we catch some rays before we’re too busy after we move into our new home. So we headed to Sunset Beach and it was fabulous. A little crowded but so nice. Did you see these cute framed prints I put up on Friday. I still have a handful left. Let me know which one I can pack up for you. Hey friends . . . HAPPY June! 🚲🔆🏖 💙🌼 SO much happening this month. On Thursday, John and I will mark 43 years of marriage. WHAT??? Why does that seem impossible. Then, later this month, we get the keys to our brand new home here on the coast of NC. Yes, it's finally happening. Today marks 8 weeks since we left WA. It's been a whirlwind in so many ways, but also seems like the days drag as we wait for our home to be finished. Our little rental cottage resembles a furniture warehouse - we sold most of our furniture in WA, so we've been acquiring all new things to outfit out new home. That's been a lot of fun, but I'm ready to move it out and into the house. The weather has been beautiful - a few humid days; thank goodness for A/C. Hoping to get to the beach a few more times before we move. AND, I'm working on a little something something for July 4th. I'm going to try to have a little sale here on FB with some things I've been working on in the past few weeks. I can't stand to not be doing something, so let's see if I can get things together and I'll show you soon. In the meantime, HAPPY JUNE + HAPPY SUMMER! It's going to be amazing. xoxo

Hello friends. These beauties popped up today from last year. I miss not creating. We’re 5 weeks from move-in day. It can’t come quick enough. Things are moving quickly now - flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, are all in. Next up is grading the land, putting in the sprinkler system, and gutters. It’s been fun to watch it all come together and to dream about how all the furniture we’ve bought will fill the inside while dreaming big about how we’ll landscape. It’s been pretty warm, in the 80’s. Humidity, yeah a bit 😂 but loving it so much. Here’s to a beautiful long weekend, as we kick off an American Summer like none other. 🇺🇸🍦☀️🍉 🌭 👙 😎 🏖️ 🇺🇸

Here you go friends. It’s just the beginning.

It’s my mood. So grateful and blessed to be in our new hometown. T-minus 8 weeks until we move into our new home. Put this board together for a little peek at what I’m envisioning for finishes, fixtures, and furniture. While our home on the island was bold and dark, this house will be light and airy. I’ll have more as I pull more things together.

Well, hey there y’all! Yes, that southern greeting is creeping into my vocabulary 😂 this little memory popped up from 2 years ago. Who would’ve guessed that I’d be writing from a place that resembles that photo. We are nearly a month into our new hometown here in NC. Still in our little short term rental, still living amid boxes (very large boxes) of furniture that need to be put together. We’re loving it here so much. The weather has been glorious, not too humid yet. In fact, we had our first thunderstorm this morning. The dogs were petrified but it was a delightful reminder of my youth. We found out yesterday that we’ll get our keys to the new house on 6/25 - but for now, we get to watch all of the finishes hey put into place. Tomorrow paint, Monday cabinetry. It’s pretty exciting, dreaming about where all this furniture will go in each room, how the landscaping will take shape. I will say, I’ve missed not creating things. Excited for when our PODS arrive and when I can get my little studio put together. I hope you’re all well. I miss not seeing your faces pop up each day. Because I love design in general, I’ve been very intentional about what we’re putting in our new house. Would you want a sneak peek of what we’re doing? I’d love to share it with you. 🩷🏡 🏖️☀️🍓

A BIG update! We made it to North Carolina. 3,035 miles. Whew! That said, we live in a beautiful country.

We stopped by our new build when we arrived - today we have a meeting with our builder. Hopefully we’ll get a closing date. The weather has been perfect here in Calabash. 60’s AB’s sunny ☀️☀️☀️ we’ll be moving into our short term rental this weekend. It’s the perfect place to land while we wait for our house to be completed. Stay tuned for updates here. I’ll be sharing details soon. xoxo I miss you all. Can’t wait to get my little studio set up. ♥️🏡☀️
