Well, hey there y’all! Yes, that southern greeting is creeping into my vocabulary 😂 this little memory popped up from 2 years ago. Who would’ve guessed that I’d be writing from a place that resembles that photo. We are nearly a month into our new hometown here in NC. Still in our little short term rental, still living amid boxes (very large boxes) of furniture that need to be put together. We’re loving it here so much. The weather has been glorious, not too humid yet. In fact, we had our first thunderstorm this morning. The dogs were petrified but it was a delightful reminder of my youth. We found out yesterday that we’ll get our keys to the new house on 6/25 - but for now, we get to watch all of the finishes hey put into place. Tomorrow paint, Monday cabinetry. It’s pretty exciting, dreaming about where all this furniture will go in each room, how the landscaping will take shape. I will say, I’ve missed not creating things. Excited for when our PODS arrive and when I can get my little studio put together. I hope you’re all well. I miss not seeing your faces pop up each day. Because I love design in general, I’ve been very intentional about what we’re putting in our new house. Would you want a sneak peek of what we’re doing? I’d love to share it with you. 🩷🏡 🏖️☀️🍓
