Have you ever needed to say something, but you didn’t want it to come out sounding rude? 😬

Here’s a simple ChatGPT tip that can help:

Use ChatGPT to make a hard message sound nicer.

Try typing this:

“Make this sound kind but clear.”

This is helpful when you need to say something important, but you still want to be respectful.

You can use it for things like:

Replying to a difficult message
Setting a boundary
Saying no
Asking for help
Explaining a problem
Responding to a customer
Talking to a friend or family member
Sending a work message
Following up without sounding pushy

Sometimes we know what we want to say, but the words come out too harsh, too emotional, or not clear enough.

ChatGPT can help you keep the message polite while still saying what needs to be said.

For example, you could type:

“Here is what I want to say. Make this sound kind but clear.”

Then paste your message.

You can also ask:

“Make it friendly but firm.”

Or:

“Make it sound respectful, but don’t let me apologize too much.”

That way, you can communicate better without watering down your message.

Here’s your prompt to try:

“Make this sound kind but clear.”

What is a type of message that is hard for you to write?

Is it saying no, following up, asking questions, or handling conflict?

Drop your answer in the comments. Someone else may struggle with the same thing too. 💛

Have you ever tried to explain something and realized… “This would make no sense to someone brand new”? 😅

Here’s a simple ChatGPT tip that can help:

Use ChatGPT to make something beginner-friendly.

Try typing this:

“Rewrite this for someone who has never heard of this before.”

This is helpful when you already understand something, but you need to explain it in a way that makes sense to someone else.

You can use it for:

Facebook posts
Instructions
Product descriptions
Lessons
Class notes
Business ideas
Social media captions
Book descriptions
Side hustle explanations
Messages to customers or friends

Sometimes we forget what it felt like when we were brand new.

We may use words, shortcuts, or phrases that make sense to us, but leave someone else thinking, “Wait… what does that mean?”

ChatGPT can help take your message and make it clearer, simpler, and easier to understand.

For example, you could say:

“Rewrite this for someone who has never heard of TikTok Shop before.”

Or:

“Rewrite this for someone who is brand new to using ChatGPT.”

This is a great way to make sure your message reaches more people, especially beginners who may feel overwhelmed or confused.

Here’s your prompt to try:

“Rewrite this for someone who has never heard of this before.”

What is something you know about now that felt confusing when you first learned it?

Drop it in the comments. Your answer might help someone else realize they are not the only one who felt confused at first. 💛

Ever read a long explanation and think… “Can we please just get to the point?” 😅

Here’s a simple ChatGPT tip that can make things so much easier:

Ask ChatGPT to turn a long explanation into bullet points.

Try typing this:

“Turn this into simple bullet points.”

This is helpful when something feels too long, too wordy, or hard to follow.

You can use it for:

Emails
Instructions
Articles
Class lessons
Facebook posts
Meeting notes
Documents
Product information
Long messages

Sometimes we don’t need every single word right away.

Sometimes we just need the important parts in a way our brain can actually handle.

ChatGPT can take a big paragraph and break it down into short, simple bullet points so you can understand it faster.

For example, you could copy and paste a long message and ask:

“Turn this into simple bullet points.”

Then, if you still need more help, you can ask:

“Now tell me what I need to do first.”

That way, you are not just reading a wall of words. You are getting the main ideas in a way that is easier to follow.

Here’s your prompt to try:

“Turn this into simple bullet points.”

What is something you have read before that felt way too long or confusing?

Ever read something and think… “Okay… but what is this actually saying?” 😅

Here’s a simple ChatGPT tip that can help:

Use ChatGPT to find the main point.

Try typing this:

“What is the main point of this?”

This is helpful when you are reading something that feels long, confusing, or full of too many details.

You can use it for:

Emails
Articles
Instructions
Class lessons
Facebook posts
Documents
Product information
Messages
Contracts or forms you are trying to understand

Sometimes we get stuck because there is too much information at once.

ChatGPT can help pull out the most important part so you can understand what really matters.

For example, you could copy and paste a long message into ChatGPT and ask:

“What is the main point of this?”

Then you can follow up with:

“Explain it in simple words.”

Or:

“Tell me what I need to do next.”

That makes it easier to understand the message without feeling overwhelmed by every little detail.

Here’s your prompt to try:

“What is the main point of this?”

Ever read something and think… “Okay, but can somebody explain this in normal people words?” 😅

That is one of the best ways to use ChatGPT.

You can ask ChatGPT to explain something at your level.

Try typing this:

“Explain this like I am brand new and don’t know any fancy words.”

This is helpful when you are trying to understand something that feels confusing, too technical, or full of words you have never heard before.

You can use it for things like:

Learning about AI
Understanding a new app
Reading instructions
Learning about online business
Trying to understand a document
Figuring out social media terms
Learning something your kids or grandkids are talking about
Understanding a class, course, or lesson

Sometimes the problem is not that you can’t learn it.

Sometimes the problem is that it was explained in a way that made it harder than it needed to be.

ChatGPT can take a confusing topic and break it down in simple words, step by step, so you can actually understand what it means.

And if it is still too confusing, you can ask:

“Can you explain that even simpler?”

Or:

“Can you give me an example?”

That is the beauty of ChatGPT. You can keep asking until it finally clicks.

Here’s your prompt to try:

“Explain this like I am brand new and don’t know any fancy words.”

What is something you have heard people talk about that you wish someone would explain in plain English?

Drop it in the comments. Your answer might help someone else who has been wondering the same thing. 💛

Saturday Q&A: Letter Writing Questions ✉️

I get questions about letter writing, so I thought I’d answer a few common ones in one place.

Q: Do we write actual letters to the casinos?
No. It’s not a long letter. It’s usually a 4x6 index card, and they tell you exactly what to write.

Q: How long does it take for envelope templates to be checked?
They are usually checked every 24 hours.

Q: Can the index cards be lined?
No. The index cards need to be completely blank. Most are 4x6, but some may be 3x5 depending on the rules.

Q: Can we use white out?
It’s not recommended, but it may be used sparingly on the index card. Never use white out on the envelope.

Q: Can I write while I’m on vacation?
Not if you are out of your home state. Also, if you’re too close to a state line, it may be better not to write from there.

The biggest thing with letter writing is paying attention to the details. The rules matter, and every little thing can make a difference.

I’m still learning and sharing what I learn as I go, so hopefully this helps someone who has been curious about it. 😊

Friday reminder 🌻

You may not have done everything perfectly this week, but look at you… you still showed up.

Maybe you got a lot done.
Maybe you barely got through it.
Maybe you had big plans and life laughed a little.

Either way, you made it to Friday.

Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a big breakthrough. Sometimes it looks like trying again, learning one more thing, taking one more step, or simply not giving up when it would have been easier to quit.

So before you start thinking about everything you still need to do, take a minute to notice what you DID do.

You tried.
You learned.
You handled more than people probably know.
And you’re still here.

That counts.

Give yourself a little grace today. You don’t have to have the whole road figured out. Just take the next step in front of you.

Happy Friday, friends. Keep going. 💛

When you’re new to posting online, it can feel like you’re supposed to magically know what to say every day.

And let me tell you… staring at your phone thinking, “What in the world do I post today?” is not a plan. 😂

One thing I’m learning is that not every post has to be the same.

There are actually different types of posts that all do different things.

Here are 5 types beginners can use:

Humor posts
These help people smile and see your personality.
Personal story posts
These help people get to know the real you.
Educational posts
These give people a simple tip or something helpful to think about.
Encouraging posts
These lift people up and make them feel like they’re not alone.
Promotional posts
These let people know what you offer, what you’re learning, or what you’re part of.

The part I didn’t realize before is that these posts work better when they’re mixed together.

If every post is promotional, people may scroll past.

If every post is just random, people may not understand what you do.

But when you mix them together, your page starts to feel more like you have a purpose instead of just throwing things online and hoping for the best.

I’m still learning how to do this myself, but this content calendar idea is already helping me think about my posts differently.

One step at a time, right? 😊

Organization and I have never exactly been best friends. 😂

I LOVE the idea of being organized. I love the cute little bins, planners, notebooks, office supplies, labels, all of it.

My mom and I could spend HOURS in an office supply store. I could buy all the things that were supposed to help me get organized… but actually using them the way they were intended? Well, that’s where things got a little questionable. lol

Now, I will say this: I have mastered the soda can organizer in the fridge and the egg organizer. Those are working beautifully.

The rest of the fridge? HAHA. Let’s not talk about that.

My drawers may have the right categories in them, but finding what I need is still a whole treasure hunt.

So when we talked about Content Calendars in our marketing class a couple weeks ago, I thought, “OK, this might actually help me.”

The idea is that you plan out what kind of content to post each day so you’re not just sitting there staring at your phone trying to figure out what to say.

And honestly? It is helping.

Am I doing it perfectly? Absolutely not. 😂

I already caught myself using some of my Thursday ideas on Monday, so now my little “content apples” are definitely not staying in the right baskets.

But I’m learning.

I’m posting more.
I’m thinking ahead more.
I’m trying new things.
And I’m not waiting until I have it all figured out before I start.

That’s one thing I really appreciate about being in a place where we’re learning this stuff together. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about learning, trying, laughing at yourself a little, and getting better as you go.

Maybe next week my content apples will stay where they belong. 😂

But for now, I’m just proud that I’m trying.

I may not have it all figured out, but I’m learning as I go.
