There’s something pretty special about waking up, staying tucked in bed a little longer… and having this waiting outside your door. 🥹

No garage.
No packing orders.
No going LIVE.
No to-do list.

Just family, a little sunshine, the sound of the water… and a very grateful heart. 🤍

Happy Labor Day, my Pink Patina people! 🇺🇸🩷

Today we’re choosing the slower pace.

The Cajun and I are officially unplugging for a little family time, and I’m reminding myself that it’s okay to step away from the garage, the treasures, the packing, the planning… all of it.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is stop working and go make some memories. ❤️

I’ll still pop in here and there and take y’all along for a little bit of our adventure — and you KNOW there may be a little antique hunting involved. 😉

But for now…

No Sunday Social tonight, friends — the Cajun and I are packing up and heading out for a week with our kids. ❤️

And honestly… sometimes you just have to put the antiques down, close the garage door, and go make some memories.

Garage Pickin’ may have moved to the kitchen last night, but apparently the kitchen wasn’t quite ready for all those treasures! 😂

This is what happens when a LIVE full of vintage goodies comes to an end.

Now comes the not-so-glamorous part… putting it all back together. 😆

But looking at this table this morning, I can’t help but smile.

Thank you to everyone who came treasure hunting with us last night! 🩷

Well hello, September. 🩷

There’s just something about this month that makes me want to slow down a little and savor the simple things.

This is my grandmother’s rocking chair, tucked away in a little quiet corner of our home. It’s one of those places that makes me stop for a minute and appreciate the things that carry memories with them.

And maybe that’s what I’m looking forward to most this September… more of the simple, good things.
