Fine details of fur tend to be the ones I have to do first so hours later still doing them technically this is one of my most challenging projects but I love it! Im so glad I get this change to do a pet portrait of Honeypot. She's such a stunning cat so thank you Midnight Magic for this! Using Markart colored pencils. Hope you enjoy! More on Honeypot i really enjoy working on her i have a long ways to go! The song is from the original pure moods album one of my fav albums of all time. Im using Markart colored pencils for it. Hope you enjoy the progress so far!

I have to say Honeypot is one of those pets that challenges your skills. Im loving every second but it certainly is out of my comfort zone! Know what that means tho right? I get to grow as an artist!! For me thats huge dispite the shows dispite awards ive gotten the one thing i always want to do is grow. Learn more try new things expand what i find comfortable in the art world. Its some thing i see the masters of old did they never stopped growing they never stopped studying and finding more things to learn about their art. For every one art piece we consider a masterpiece now there were close to 500 that either didnt get seen that way or never say the light of day. Im really happy with this chance and i thank Midnight Magic for the chance to do her stunning fur babies!! Have a very magical night folks
