Update - the first shipment is sold out. If you would like to pre-order for the second shipment please contact me. These are not currently available from Crossrock.

I am finalizing the pre-order for the new Crossrock case designed to fit the majority of vintage 19 fret resonator tenor banjos. If you expressed interest in the past you should have received a message from me today. There is a limited quantity available for the first order that will be arriving in a few weeks. This will be on a first come first served basis. The cases are available in black and ivory, custom colors by special order. The Trad Banjo logo is a sticker and not included on the case.

This idea has been floating around in my head for a few months. I want to have the sound of a clear head, with a vintage look of a natural skin head. I painted the inside of the head and sanded as much paint of as possible to only keep the color. I also sanded the top the flatten the surface. I am happy enough with the first attempt to put it on my banjo.

I can never remember if BCD is a treble or triplet 🤔. I’m happy to be trusted with the repair and restoration of these gems.

They might look the same, but they are very different. I have worked with Crossrock to develop an improved design that will fit the majority of vintage tenor banjos better. The new case will be going into production very soon. I will make a new post accepting pre-orders.
