Had the honor and privilege of making some custom bracelets for one of the first small businesses I fell in love with, Bootheel Southern Squeeze! 🩷🩵🧡💛

Behind every small business is the individual running it, so I decided to make one for Kendra, the lemonade lady, and then one for Kendra, the person. 🫶🏻

Small businesses are often the greatest supporters of other small businesses, as is the case here! 🍋

She will be at Freedom Fest at Portageville City Park next weekend from 9am - 6pm, and I’ll glad to say that I’ll be selling patriotic bracelets there as well. 💙❤️🤍

I’ll be at the White Squirrel Festival in Kenton, Tennessee tomorrow from 9am-3pm with new bracelet styles and a 4th of July sale! 🤩

All of my patriotic bracelets will be $2.50 each in honor of our country’s upcoming 250th anniversary! 💙🤍❤️

In addition to my normal Christian and inspirational bracelets, I have the follow school spirit bracelets prepared:

• Kenton
• Rutherford
• Greenfield
• Dyer
• Gibson County

In addition to pony bead bracelets, I’ll have some new glass bead bracelets as well! 😊

Pony bead bracelets will be $4, and glass bead bracelets will be $5!

Given that my dad graduated from Gibson County and lived in Dyer when he was younger, these were pretty special to make.

We also moved from Greenfield when I was just a baby, and know several people from the area, so I hope to see many familiar faces tomorrow!👀

Time to shine a light on the face behind this account - it’s me, Kayla McDaniel! 🩵

I am a former middle school English teacher turned university administrative assistant, and I’ve been designing bracelets for around three years now. I started, like most people, because of Taylor Swift and The Eras Tour, as I’ve been a big Swiftie since 2009! ⭐️

Over time, I started doing bracelets that were not just Taylor inspired, but for myself, the people in my life, and for special occasions. I’ve done it off and on as a secret hobby up until the last couple of weeks, when I officially launched Be the Light Bracelets!

I started this small business to bring light into the lives of others through jewelry, as there’s so much darkness in the world. It’s my hope those who I interact with will be inspired to be a light in the world, and to share their newfound light with others.

So, if you’re looking for school-themed, Christian, or inspirational/motivational bracelets for yourself or for someone you love, I’m your girl! 🫶🏻

While the first five pics are representative of me and my brand now, the remaining pictures show my creations from the last three years. My designs have gotten more creative over time!
