This is the story about three high school friends who share a secret. One is just getting out of prison; one is graduating college and the third out of the Army. Set in the tumultuous time of the 60's. There is a power struggle over land and eminent domain that reaches the Supreme Court.

This is a truth-based story about a senior in high school, Dustin, who is the #1 quarterback in the state of NC. He gets hit hard during a rivalry game, is brought to the intensive care unit with a 50% chance of living or dying. When he wakes up his life is changed forever. The doctors say he can never play the game again. His father, Randolph, is absolutely against the idea and does everything in his power to get him back into a big-time college football program.

During his recovery phase he travels to see his uncle who opens his eyes to many things his father never told him about. He continues on his voyage seeking the truth. What he finds to be true is nothing but a revolution. It’s an easy read, with twist and turns everywhere.

Born in Amsterdam, NY. Second oldest to an Irish family with four siblings; two boys and two girls. Graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Served time in the Army, Charlie's Rangers, 1509th and 1st SFG. Married 44 years, two wonderful boys. Both married to wonderful ladies. Two granddaughters and three grandsons that I adore.

Always loved writing have the time now.

Written in 1st person, this story is based on facts. Conrad O’Neil is
given the task of writing his father’s Eulogy. Having to fly from Raleigh Durham/Airport, NC to Albany, NC and then a 2 ½ hour drive to Indian Lake, NY. He feels he’ll have more than enough time to be ready for the funeral the next day. That was not to be so. As he was thinking of his family, he realizes how totally dysfunctional
it was before dysfunctional was a household word. He does in fact complete the eulogy before the funeral. By the time his visit ends his conclusion is that nothing had really changed.
