A little shop update! 🧜‍♀️🌵

We’re beginning to wind down our current Carefree location.

Desert Mermaid AZ will be closed September 3–7 for vacation. When we return, we’ll be packing up and closing out the shop as the building's new owner starts renovations.

We’re excited for what’s ahead for Desert Mermaid! 💕 Stay tuned and follow along for updates about what comes next.

Charm your way through Carefree is happening! Our Desert Mermaid charm is NOW available in our shop. The specially designed charm is sterling silver and comes with a bracelet to attach the charm to. Explore the other participating shops. Just like Pokemon, ya gotta catch em all!

☀️ Summer Hours Update! ☀️

Arizona summers have officially sent everyone into hibernation. ☀️🌵😅

To better match the slower summer pace, I'm making a small adjustment to my shop hours.

🩷 Open Wednesday–Saturday
🕚 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

🌵 Closed Sunday, Monday & Tuesday

These hours will carry us through the rest of the summer while I get ready for an exciting new chapter this fall. 😊

✨ Another exciting brand is coming to Desert Mermaid AZ! ✨

I have a little happy dance to share... Desert Mermaid AZ has officially been approved to carry Alex and Ani! 🎉

I actually fell in love with the brand when they released their Polly Pocket™ collection (instant obsession 😍). Once I started looking through the rest of their jewelry, I realized they have so many beautiful pieces that fit the Desert Mermaid vibe perfectly fun, meaningful, easy to wear, and perfect for everyday.

One of the things I'm most excited about with the new Cave Creek shop is finally having more room to expand the collections I bring in. Alex and Ani is just one of the amazing additions that will be part of this next chapter, and I can't wait to fill the new space with even more fun treasures for you to discover.

🧜‍♀️Big News! Desert Mermaid AZ is Moving! 🌵

If all goes as planned, Desert Mermaid AZ will be moving to Cave Creek around October/November as Big Earl’s Old Time Candy Shop begins its exciting transition to its new home in Frontier Town.

While it’s bittersweet to leave the place where Desert Mermaid AZ first opened its doors, I’m looking forward to this next chapter! The new location will give us more room to grow and create even more of the shopping experience I’ve dreamed of.

Thank you for supporting my small business and believing in this dream. I can’t wait to welcome you to our new home and share every step of the journey with you! 💕
