One of my favorite things❤️

We partner with a local school district to host a free book fair where students are able to choose and keep a handful of books each, all fully funded by their school's foundation.

What made this one even more special was seeing some of the students pick their books and the schools sharing some of the comments made by the students as I don't usually get to see this side of it. Here are some of my favorite quotes:

"You could have had some boring books so it wasn’t so hard to choose."

"I have 41 books now from this!"

"I thought I was in trouble and I just get to come and pick out books, this is the best day ever!"

Having books of their own helps these students keep reading even after the school year ends, and I'm proud to be a small part of that!

Lena the chicken in convinced she is really a dinosaur! She shows off her bravery and proves she's no chicken when a weasel comes into the chicken coop. This book is a lot of fun and would make for a great read a loud that you can read over and over!
